Thankfulness

                      Thankfulness

Most of us have grown up celebrating Thanksgiving, but I know for me the true meaning of Thankfulness, the core of what Thanksgiving is all about really escaped me until recently.  Thankfulness is not just about being thankful in the easy times, but its about being thankful even when life seems to throw you a few curve balls. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT) says “Always be joyful.  Never stop praying.  Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus”.  If we really think about that verse and apply it to our lives it means we are to be thankful even when the world is trying to bring us down.  But our call as Christians, as followers of Christ is to remember to give thanks even in the most difficult circumstances.
This idea of thankfulness can so easily transpose itself into our worship lifestyle as well.  Just consider the Psalmists and how must praise & worship was given to God even in the midst of trials.  Psalm 117 reminds us why we should praise God when it says “Praise the LORD, all you nations.  Praise him, all you people of the earth.  For he loves us with unfailing love; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.  Praise the LORD!” While we see in Psalm 62 that David is experiencing a trial against many enemies and yet he still chooses to remember and share with us that “He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.  My victory and honor come from God alone.  He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me” (v. 5-7).
So as we move into this season of thankfulness and thanksgiving, lets remember that even in the midst of the trials we encounter every day, GIVE HIM PRAISE!  When life is so difficult you are unsure of what will happen next, GIVE HIM PRAISE!  And also in the midst of the joys of the holiday season, GIVE HIM PRAISE! For as we GIVE HIM PRAISE and worship our lord and creator we are establishing within ourselves something that will overflow with joy in our lives, and those trials we encounter will seem but specs of dust in comparison to the great glory and power of God in our lives.  Therefore we will find we are Thankful even when the world says we should not be.

Discover what you lack in Life and PURSUE IT!!!

Discover what you lack in Life and PURSUE IT!!!. I believe that, anything you see as a Lack in Your life has the ability to connect You to Your Destiny so PURSUE IT!!!. Call whatever you Lack a "DONKEY". This "DONKEY" can be your marriage, education etc. In 1Samuel 9:- We see a wealthy man named Kish. He had a son named Saul. This family had EVERYTHING (Beauty, Riches name it...they had it all) but they had "LOST DONKEYS". Kish treasured these DONKEYS so much that he sent his son Saul to go look for them. Saul got frustrated searching for these "LOST DONKEYS" because they were nowhere to be found. He had so much hope to find them in certain places but didn't.(...We should avoid UNPRODUCTIV EFFORT in other words "PAST GLORIES"). We notice that Saul wasn't alone on his journey; he had a servant with him. At the point of Saul's frustration, the sevant led him to prophet Samuel because the servant believed Samuel could be of help in finding "THE DONKEYS". In verse 15: The Bible says that, The Lord had already told Samuel He will send a man(Saul) from the tribe of Benjamin and he was supposed to be anointed as RULER OF THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.
1. Saul's PURSUIT of the "LOST DONKEYS" led him to the KINGDOM. He was destined to become KING OF ISRAEL.
Same thing happened to Joseph. He went out looking for his BROTHERS. The nest time wesaw him, he was o the THRONE (King of Egypt). A similar thing happend to David.
Remember that what you LACK has the ability to:-
A. BEAR YOUR BURDEN
B. MAKE YOU PRESTIGIOUS AND HONORABLE
C. BRING WEALTH
D. ELEVATE YOU FROM PLACE OF PAIN TO A PLACE OF COMFORT (the story of the Good Samaritan. Note: i wasn't the Samaritan who carried th wounded man to a safe and comfortable place. IT WAS THE DONKEY!!!)
E. It aso has the ability to Ride you into Royalty and Destiny. (Jesus rode on a DONKEY to fulfill his destiny in Jerusalem)
FINALLY:- In Pursuitof Destiny, Everyone and everything matters. DO NOT LOOK DOWN ON ANYONE. APPLY the Law of Synergy which is the "POWER OF TWO". Bible says 2 are better than 1.
1Samuel 9:7-8 -> "What Sons don't have, Servants do Have" Again, don't look down on people.
Two also brings Productivity, Support and Maximum Results.

BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR LACK AND PURSUE IT. WHAT YOU PURSUE IS A PROOF OF WHAT YOU TREASURE. GOD GIVES GRACE ACCORDING TO PURPOSE AND DESTINY. STAY BLESSED!!!!

Jesus Christ: The Greatest Possibility Thinker Who Ever Lived

Jesus Christ: The Greatest Possibility Thinker Who Ever Lived

(from "Endless Possibilities, Far and Great Horizons")

Jesus truly believed that common people can become incredibly powerful beings. He knew without a shadow of doubt that ordinary people could become extraordinary people, if they could merely become possibility thinkers.
The claims of Jesus:
"I am the good shepherd." (John 10:11)
"I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved. (John 10:9)
"I am the bread of life." (John 6:35)
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me and I in him, bears much fruit." (John 15:5)
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father, except through Me." (John 14:6)
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." (John 11:25)
Being a follower of Christ is offering yourself to Him and following His teachings: Your mind for Christ to think through. Your heart - for Christ to love through.
Your lips for Christ to speak through. Your hands - for Christ to touch through.
WHEN the spirit of Christ lives within you...
* Your problems will turn into great opportunities. Incredible, amazing opportunities for growth!
You will: * Have the strength to tackle your opportunities with divine strength and succeed.
* Pick up the broken hopes of your unfulfilled aspirations in life, your shattered dreamsand have the courage and resilience to start over gain.
* Dream great dreams and one day see them come to pass. God can dream a greater dream for your life than you could ever have imagined.
* Become a truly great person - like Jesus himself. Become the very BEST YOU that you are capable of being. With God, Jesus beside you and the Holy Spirit inside you nothing is impossible... and let your spirit soar like an eagle.
"Lord, show me the person You want to speak to through my life today."
Amen
From The New Possibility Thinkers Bible by Robert H Schuller and Paul David Dunn (by Thomas Nelson Inc, 1996) *
Jesus was not just a figure from history and the Bible a series of stories ("fairy-tales"), I truly believe. It's a way of presenting the Word of God. Jesus entered into a new form of existence with His "wealth of spirit". Christ is a beacon, "the anchor of our faith".Christianity is not a series of "do's and don't's", but a living faith that transforms lives, as people meet a risen saviour."
Jesus lived in a war zone, as do modern children in the Middle East. He gave a voice to the voiceless. The silent Jesus symbolises all who cannot speak clearly for themselves. (Are we listening to their enforced silence?). Jesus responded with compassion to human cries. Jesus showed unconditional love and all people, whether religious or not, can embrace love. Peace and goodwill is for ALL to celebrate, but God needs human beings in partnership to help peace become a reality for others.
Listen to the silence of the voiceless, the message of Jesus and ACT according to that divine spirit that lies in every one of us.
Following the teachings of Jesus shows us ways of living and principles that we can ALL learn. Something WILL happen in your life. God WILL change things. These are simple principles, that can dramatically change our lives for the better.
Choose hope despite your circumstances. God has the amazing ability to bring make something beautiful out of brokeness in our life. Amazing! God can take an ordinary person, any situation and turn it into something amazing. Jesus, the Hope-Giver will use your life for good.
It was a defining moment in my life; it sculpted who I am today. God uses our deepest valleys. He can take any situation in life and use it for His glory. Changes people, regardless of their circumstances. Jesus gives us HOPE. It's a CHOICE - He WILL be faithful.
The unlimited power of Christ to change lives. You too can be filled with His limitless generosity of spirit. A "spark in the soul" can lead to snow-capped peaks of accomplishment.
God never gives up on His children

JOHN SENA WORLD OUTREACH: Jesus Christ Requires YOU To Repent Of YOUR Sins: Repent of  YOUR  sins, confess  YOUR  sins to Jesus Christ in prayer, and ask Him to forgive  YOU  for sinning. Repentance  - T...

Jesus Christ Requires YOU To Repent Of YOUR Sins

Repent of YOUR sins, confess YOUR sins to Jesus Christ in prayer, and ask Him to forgive YOU for sinning.

Repentance - That divinely wrought conviction of sin in the heart that the soul is guilty before God, and resolute turning away from sin in which the sinner identifies himself with the gracious act of God in redeeming him. Repentance involves both a change of mind about sin, and a change of heart-attitude toward sin. It is at the time of renunciation of sin and an acceptance of the Holy Spirit's enablement to Holy Living. Repentance is necessary for salvation. Jesus asserted that it was a necessary condition
Matthew 3:2 (NIV) and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
Matthew 3:8 (NIV) Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.
Matthew 4:17 (NIV) From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
while both Paul and Peter identified it with true salvation
Acts 20:21 (NIV) I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
2 Peter 3:9 (NIV) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Religion vs. Repentance

Religion vs. Repentance

  • Many think the word repent means "to get your act together" or to "get religion" or "fly straight"; as if we could. Repentance requires taking in a whole new point of view; looking at it God's way. God simply asks us to turn. This is the way we accept His gift. When we do, certain outcomes are promised. If we don't, or we "turn back", alternate outcomes are promised.

  • Look And Live

Numbers 21:8-9 (NIV) The Lord said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." ...Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.

  • Let's imagine ourselves in this situation. Poisonous snakes have bitten everyone, and while we are not dead yet, the prospects do not look good. Suddenly a voice yells out: "We must do something. We must save ourselves!" But how? Various ideas surface such as: "If you run around in frantic activity it will work out the poison!" A few people try this, and die trying. Others, by staring at their bites, go totally berserk into a frenzy of panic. Alternately, some try to convince themselves that they are not bitten, or that the snakes were not poisonous, and form little groups to delude each other while dying. And here's a person selling "snake oil" which purports to be an antitoxin, but makes people even worse.
  • Enter Moses who says, "If you look at the bronze snake that has been lifted up on this pole, you will live. If you do not, no matter what else you do, you will die." Now let's really picture how we might react, having been given this revelation. "He must be kidding," we would think. "Do nothing? Just look? How insulting a solution! What part do we play in it?" Moses responds, "Cease your activities. Just look, and live!" Really now, if you had been there, would you have believed it? Do you believe God's solution today?
  • John 3:14 (NIV) [Jesus:] "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up."

  • We all have been bitten, and sin is coursing through our veins. It will most certainly lead to death. There is only one solution, but it is an offense to our ability to save ourselves.
  • John 6:40a (NIV) "For my father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life."
John 6:29 (NIV) Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

    Turn Or Burn

Luke 13:3b (NIV) "But unless you repent, you too will all perish." [This is often termed the "Turn or Burn" passage.]
Matthew 4:17 (NIV) From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
Matthew 3:2 (Phi) "You must change your hearts and minds, for the Kingdom of Heaven has arrived!"
Mark 6:12 (TEB) So they went out and preached that people should turn away from their sins.
Acts 2:38 (NIV) Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

    The Two Ways

  • The "way" we are looking: 1) will make sense if we look long enough; 2) will create desire to move in that direction; and 3) will lead to something. First, we will look at how this applies to man's way.
  • Proverbs 14:12 (NIV) There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

  • If our line of sight is along our own way, or the way of the world, then this will begin to make sense to us as we continue to meditate on it, even if the way we are looking is really stupid. With this mind set, desire will spring up, which is the fuel that will lead us to destruction.
  • Any sin would do as an example, but let's take bitterness. If someone has done evil to us, the more we think about it, the more it will make sense to hate them, to burn with anger, to feel again the hurt. As we focus on the way of revenge, desire takes root and bitterness sets in. And where does this all lead?
  • James 1:14-15 (NIV) But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth todeath.
Ezekiel 18:23-31 (NIV) "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?" declares the Sovereign Lord. "Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?... Because he considers all the offenses he has committed and turns away from them, he will surely live; he will not die... Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?"
Ezekiel 33:11 (NIV) ... "I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways!..."

Man's Way And God's Way Contrasted

Ephesians 4:17-24 (NIV) So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off the old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 2:1-3 (Phi) You were spiritually dead through your sins and failures, all the time you followed this world's ideas of living, and obeyed the evil ruler of the spiritual realm, who is indeed fully operative today in those who disobey God. We all lived like that in the past, and followed the desires and imaginings of our lower natures, being, in fact, under the wrath of God by nature, like everyone else.
Galatians 5:16 (NIV) So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

    What Are You Looking At?

  • It has been said that "a righteous man does whatever he wants , but only wants to do the will of God." The "only wants" part comes from reckoning our carnal selves crucified with Christ. We do this by quickly repenting when we are caught meditating on sin, turning to God. If we do not, and give the "way of the world" its chance, our desire to sin will grow. Unconsummated carnal desire is corruption and death, even if we do not actually commit the sin.
  • Matthew 5:28-29 (NIV) "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."

  • Desire itself is not the problem. The problem is the object of our desire. Desires are meant to be consummated, not to burn on uncrucified or spent on sin. Knowing how we function, God promises and gives us new desires by His Spirit, which makes righteousness an "easy yoke" to the repentant. We turn; He empowers. We lose "our" lives; He makes us new creations with a new mind, new desires (heart), and new works (fruit).
  • Romans 8:5-9 (NIV) Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of the sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are not controlled by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.

    Looking At It God's Way

  • So how can we break out of the death-spiral of the way of sin seeming rightcreating desire, and leading to destruction? We must repent; we must turn or perish. But to what? If we turn to just another of "man's ways" we have just set our sights down another road to death. Instead, we must find out what God's will, God's way, is and turn to that.
  • Ephesians 5:15-17 (NIV) Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.

  • Back to our example of bitterness, if we turn from fantasizing about actually hurting the perpetrator in some vengeful way to just wallowing in hurt, pain, and pity instead; this is not repentance. Repentance istaking in God's point of view; looking at it His way.
  • Ephesians 5:8-10 (NIV) For you were once in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.

  • Note that if God by His grace reveals something to us that we can turn to, it may not make sense right away. In our example of bitterness, God's will is forgiveness! "Ridiculous, that would not be right," is our first reaction. (Again, any sin will do as an example.) But if we do not allow our eye to flinch as we take in God's perspective, if we keep staring at it, we will find that it is good, pleasing, and perfect. Beyond "seeming right", it really is right.
  • In our example, if we move from bitterness to forgiveness, we find out that God's way is the best "revenge", that forgiveness is like "pouring coals over the heads" of our enemies. If we forgive instead of wallowing in bitterness, the perpetrator's grip over us is broken, and we find that we were only hurting ourselves. If we continue to take in God's point of view, then after time we will look back at the old wayand say "What was I thinking? Ridiculous!" So do not grow impatient if God's way does not immediately appeal to you; keep staring at it.
  • James 1:25 (Phi) But the man who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and makes a habit of so doing, is not the man who hears and forgets. He puts that law into practice and he wins true happiness.
Ps 34:5,8 (NIV) Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame... Taste and see that the Lord is good.

The Gift Of God That Goes With Repentance: New Appetites

1 Peter 2:2 (NIV) Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
Ps 119:104-105 (NIV) I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore, I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Ps 16:11 (NIV) You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
2 Peter 1:3-4 (NIV) His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
Rom 12:1-2 (NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Warnings To Those Who Hanker To "Look Back"

Isaiah 30:15 (NIV) This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it."
Philippians 3:19 (NIV) Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.
2 Peter 2:21-22 (NIV) It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its own vomit," and "A sow that is washed goes back to wallowing in the mud."
Luke 9:62 (NEB) To him Jesus said, "No one who sets his hand to the plow and then keeps looking back is fit for the kingdom of God."

    The Urgency Of Repentance

Isaiah 55:6-7 (NIV) Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Rom 2:4 (Phi) Are you, perhaps, misinterpreting God's generosity and patient mercy towards you as weakness on his part? Don't you realize that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
Acts 17:30 (NIV) In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
James 5:19-20 (Phi) My brothers, if any of you should wander away from the truth and another should turn him back on to the right path, then the latter may be sure that in turning a man back from his wandering course he has rescued a soul from death, and in so doing will "cover a multitude of sins."
Rev 3:3 (Phi) "Remember what you were taught. Hold to those things and repent."

    The Object Of Desire

1 John 2:15-17 (Phi) Never give your hearts to this world or to any of the things in it. A man cannot love the Father and love the world at the same time. For the whole world-system, based as it is on men's desires, their greedy ambitions and the glamour of all that they think splendid, is not derived from the Father at all, but from the world itself. The world and all of its passionate desires will one day disappear. But the man who is following God's will is part of the permanent and cannot die.
Matthew 6:32-33 (Phi) That is what pagans are always looking for; your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. Set your heart first on his kingdom and his goodness, and all these things will come to you as a matter of course.
Col 3:2 (NIV) Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Ps 101:3a (NIV) I will set before my eyes no vile thing.
Rom 13:14 (NIV) ... clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of your sinful nature.
Ps 105:4 (NIV) Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
Ps 119:36-37 (NIV) Turn my heart toward your statutes and not towards selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
Acts 2:38 (TEB) Peter said to them, "Turn away from your sins, each one of you, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God's gift, the Holy Spirit."

    Turn Or Burn

2 Tim 2:19 (NIV) "The Lord knows those who are his," and "everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."

  • When at first we hear "repent or perish", it seems harsh. But as we turn, we see that it is an incredible gift to have something to turn to. If not for God's love, our only option would be to perish. But the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has appeared. To have the option to turn is sweet indeed.
  • Acts 3:19 (NIV) "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."
Hebrews 12:2a (NIV) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

    THE HEALING JESUS

    IF HEALING DOESN'T COME!

Road blocks the Devil has set up to rob you of God's gifts.

Some people have ask God for healing and nothing has happened ... They think, God does not hear me. I am not worthy. Healing is only for a few. It must not be His will to heal me. WHEN I PRAY NOTHING HAPPENS!

You are not alone. Many people pray and do not get healed. WHY???? We are going to go over some of the most common causes for not being healed. See if you are in one of these groups. If so, GET THE PROBLEM OUT and GET HEALED. God meant for you to have all of His blessings.

    1) What do you want most? Healing or Jesus?

What do you want most? A loving relationship with Jesus or to be cured? Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Divine healing can only come as a by product of loving Jesus. It is one of your gifts. Like Salvation ... eternal life. Test yourself and see. Do you want your healing the most? Or do you want to have a loving relationship with Jesus the most?
People come 2jesus all the time, about 3500 per day. Many come to be healed. Some just want to pull in like a filling station and say heal me and then go on their way. Living the life they were living before. Not searching for God, not wanting to follow in the way of Jesus. Just patch me up and send me out again. That is not going to work. You will not be healed. Matt. 6:33 But seek first (First!! Not after your healed but first.) His Kingdom and Righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. What things? All of God's promises.

    2) God does not hear me, or it may not be God's will to heal me.

Isaiah 30-19, (How gracious He will be when you cry for help. As soon as He hears, He will answer you.) As soon as He hears???? How do we know He hears? Isaiah 65:24, (Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.) Job 22:27, (You will pray to Him and He will hear you.) 1 John 5:14-15, (This is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us - whatever we ask - we know we have what we ask of Him.) Plus many more verses...
Now we knows He hears us. But is what you are asking according to His will???? As we are talking about healing, yes, we know that is His will. All the way through the Bible God's will is for us to be healed.James 5:14-16, Matt. 9:28-30, Matt. 9: 6-7, Matt. 4:23-24, Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 23:25, 1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5 ... These are a few verses that prove that it is God's will to heal you.
If this was your problem, put your mind at rest. God hears you and He wants you well. Because if you doubt God, you will get nothing. It would mean you did not have faith in His Word.

    3) Are you walking in Love?

If we are to live in line with God's Word we must have love along with our faith. Are you walking in love?Read 1st Corinthians 13:1-13 This chapter is about love and how important God thinks it is. Without love we are not Christ like. Without love we are just going through the motions of faith and believing in Christ. Without love we cannot have the gifts God has in store for us.
Are you unknowingly not walking in love? If you find fault with someone do you rush to the phone to tell someone else what you found out? Or do you cover that fault with love and silence and try to restore that person. Quietly to that person or to the Lord in prayer?
If you gloat over other's mistakes. And in the next breath pray to God to heal you ... your faith cannot work at the highest level. It probably will not work at all.
Do you hold grudges? If someone has wronged you do you forgive them? You must forgive them!!!! Do not carry that burden of hate in your heart!!! You should forgive as God forgave you, with love. You should pray for them. You must pray, Lord bless them. Lord help them. They do not know what they are doing. Help them because they do not understand.
You say that is hard you cannot do that ... Well tell me, has anyone pushed a crown of thorns down on your head? Has anyone whipped your back until it was cut to the bone and bleeding? Has anyone nailed your hands and feet to a cross and hung you up to die? Well they did that to our Jesus and He said, "Forgive them for they do not know what they do." If my Jesus can do that ... Then I have enough of his love in me to forgive someone who says something to hurt my feelings. Or spreads untruths about me. And you do too.
Until we can do that we are not going to get well. The Devil will be in control of our life and not Jesus. So as of this minute get the love of Christ into your life and GET HEALED!

    4) I am not worthy.

Well maybe you are not. Let's see what that means.
Is it because God does not think you are worthy? Or because you do not feel worthy?
If God thinks you are unworthy it will be for one reason only ... you are living in sin. That is a sin you have not confessed to Him. Once you have confessed that sin to God, you will be immediately forgiven and be back in grace. And God will think of these sins no more.Hebrews 8:12 And neither should you.
Look what Jesus has done for you. 1 John 2:1-2 (If anyone sins we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense ... Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and not only for ours but for the sins of the whole world. Thank you Jesus!
So if you are not in sin and you still feel unworthy? Why? Who are you anyway? How does God see you?
Eph. 2:6, God has raised us up together with Christ.
In God's eyes you are seated with Jesus at His right hand. You are in Christ, just as Christ is in you here on earth.
1Cor. 6:17, He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
You and Jesus could be no closer together. Jesus is not just with you, you are part of each other.
1Cor. 12:27, Now you are the body of Christ.
What does that mean? We Christians here on earth are the body of Christ. He is the Head. The head does the thinking and the leading, and the body carries out the work. So when Jesus wants something done here on earth it is up to us to do it. How could we? Easy, with Jesus' Spirit joined to ours He is transferring His authority and power to us to do His will. But we must except it and be obedient to His commands,
Matt. 28:20, "And I am always with you."
All power belongs to Jesus ... and Jesus is always with us ... So we have that power in us at all times.
Eph. 3:20, His power is at work in us.
His power is not dormant! It is at work. That means we are, or should be using it. How many of us are really using it? Isn't it time we realized what Jesus has done for us and start doing what He intended. Being His body here on Earth and carrying out the Father's will.
    HOW MUCH POWER IS THAT?
Matt. 28:18, Jesus said, "All power is given to me in Heaven and Earth."
Eph. 11:19-20, His power is like He used to raise Jesus. Hallelujah!!!

That is the power to raise the dead. That is the power to heal the sick. That is the power to trample the Devil and all evil forces that come against us. That is the power to be the Body of Christ

THAT IS THE POWER OF GOD! ... THANK YOU JESUS ...
But you can only use a gift that you know you have, and that you accept. And we can only use it through Jesus, because of God's grace and love for us.

    NOW IS THAT UNWORTHY?

If you still feel unworthy, that will be a lie the Devil is trying to get you to believe. And that is easily taken care of. Jesus has given you control over the Devil and the power to use His name. Mark 16:17 and Luke 10:19. All you have to do is to use what Jesus has given you.
You Command the Devil! Here is what you say ... Devil, you foul creature ... I command you in the name of Jesus to take this feeling of unworthiness out of me ... I belong to Jesus and it is written ... That I have control over you ... So leave me in the name of Jesus ...
You can use that power for any sneaky thing the Devil or any of his demons try to burden you down with. This is also the first thing I use on any sickness. As almost all illnesses are from the Devil. If that was your problem don't wait! Get right with God! And get the Devil out of your life! And GET HEALED!

    5) I Prayed for My Healing; But it does not seem Real.

Have you ever acted as if it were real? Have you ever told anyone that it is real? Have you ever confessed it to be so? Why? Because you do not want to sound like a fool? Why? The Bible says it is so. Is the Bible a lie?
You are afraid to walk out on faith ... You are afraid to put God to the test ... What if I don't get healed? I do not want to loose my faith in God. I want to give Him an out. Which all means you do not really believe He is going to do it. Where is your faith?
You trust God with your future in eternity ... Certainly you can trust Him with your health. God's Word means what it says. STAND ON IT.
Romans 10:10 ... with the mouth confession is made unto ... A promise from God's Word must be confessed as a reality before it become true in your life ... Confess it ... Claim it ... Walk in it ... you are taking what is legally yours.

    6) The Big One ... Weak Faith

This is a killer ... You will surly die of some disease if you do not have faith. You have just read what you have in Christ and where you are positioned in God's eyes. So that should be a big start in letting you know what can be done through faith and that God means for you to have the faith and to use the power and gifts He has given you. Why would He give them, if He did not want you to use them? Besides it is our duty to be the Body of Christ here on earth, and doing His work for Him as He directs.
I presume you have read the Faith Section on 2jesus. If not do so. Then you will know what faith is and how you should use it.
People build faith by listening to God's Word and reading God's Word. Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So start building faith. Do you listen to more TV than you listen to God's word? That may let you know why you are not healed.
Do you trust God's Word above everything else? If God says you are healed, do you believe it? Or do you believe the doctor or your body's pain?

Here is how faith works. You pray for your healing. And now comes the hard part ... When you believe in your heart that you have been healed. You are healed! No matter what your body says. You believe it because that is what God's word says. At that moment you accept your healing from the Spirit world. And it is yours. Also at that moment you start praising God and thanking Him for His healing. And then God through your faith in Him, brings it into the natural and you are then healed physically. I hope you got that because it is how God operates and the most important thing you will ever know about divine healing.

Think about it this way. And this is the way most people think about it. If you pray and then wait for the healing to manifest in the physical before you start thanking God. That does not take faith ... Any atheist could do that.
Now how long do you wait for your healing to manifest into the natural world? That is a good question with no real accurate answer. I have been healed many times. Two of my healing were instant. One took about two weeks and another took about a year, although I was feeling better right after I prayed and then I got better and better everyday for the next year and then it was completely gone. I have been connected with many other people who have been healed and their healing were the same. Some instant ... Some over a period of time.
Now here is how a lot of people loose their healing. They start off fine. They have the faith it takes and they are healed. But they do not see it in the natural and after a while with the Devil shouting at them that it is not going to work. That God did not hear them or they were unworthy or some other lie. They would give up on God. And at that time they lost their healing that was on the way to them.
So when our healing is not instant, how are we to keep the Devil at bay while we wait?

1st. Timothy 6:12, We are to fight the good fight of faith. We have to believe God and trust in His word. We are going to have to hold our ground. Even when it looks like we are going down. But do not quit! Through God you will be victorious. Just believe His word and do not give up.
Get into the Word and build your faith. Then go back out and meet the Devil head on and say, There is nothing you can do to me. Jesus has given me the power to defeat you and the one who is in me is greater than anything this world can throw at me.1 John, 4:4 If you are going to beat the Devil in every situation in life, you must have an attitude that you refuse to quit!!!!

DO NOT LET THE DEVIL TAKE THIS AWAY. YOU ARE HEALED AND GOD WILL BRING IT FORTH. LET US PRAY TOGETHER NOW ...

DEAR FATHER I STAND IN AGREEMENT WITH FERD. WE KNOW I AM HEALED BECAUSE YOUR WORD SAYS THAT I AM. AND I BELIEVE AND TRUST YOUR WORD. WE ARE STANDING ON YOUR PROMISES AND WE KNOW YOU CANNOT LIE. SO WE ARE ASSURED THAT I HAVE MY HEALING. I NOW HAVE GOTTEN MY HEART IN THE RIGHT POSITION TO RECEIVE. I LOVE JESUS MORE THAN LIFE. I WANT TO FOLLOW JESUS AND HIS WAYS. I WANTS TO SHOUT JESUS' PRAISES AND TELL THE WORLD OF HIS GREAT HEALING. FATHER WE ARE CONFESSING TO YOU AND TO THE WORLD THAT I AM HEALED. AND I AM READY FATHER TO HAVE MY HEALING BROUGHT INTO THE NATURAL. WE STAND TOGETHER SAYING THAT THE DEVIL CANNOT KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME WITH LIES ANY LONGER. THANK YOU FATHER, YOUR CHILDREN, FERD AND I. WE PRAY IN THE PRECIOUS NAME OF OUR SAVIOR, JESUS ... AMEN.
NOW FATHER WE WILL USE THE POWER OF JESUS THAT HE HAS GIVEN TO US. MARK 16:17 AND LUKE 10:19. SHOUT THIS TO THE WALLS WHERE YOU ARE OR GO OUT INTO THE YARD ... SATAN YOU VILE CREATURE. WE TAKE AUTHORITY OVER YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. HE HAS DEFEATED YOU AND IT IS WRITTEN THAT HE HAS GIVEN US HIS AUTHORITY TO CAST YOU OUT OF OUR LIVES ... ANY DISEASE IN MY BODY HAS TO LEAVE NOW. SHRIVEL UP AND DIE YOU DEMON FROM HELL YOU CAN NOT STAY HERE ANY LONGER. IN JESUS NAME OUT OF MY BODY OUT OF MY LIFE. THE ONE THAT IS IN ME ... JESUS ... IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD AND YOU HAVE NO POWER AGAINST HIM ... I AM HEALED. MY HEALING WAS PAID FOR BY JESUS AND IT IS MINE ... I TAKE IT AND COMMAND YOU TO LEAVE, SO I CAN GET WHAT IS MINE.
THANK YOU JESUS FOR DELIVERING ME. THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME WHOLE. THANK YOU FOR BEING IN MY LIFE. WE LOVE YOU AND SERVE YOU WITH ALL OF OUR HEART, MYSELF AND FERD.
YOU HAVE YOUR HEALING AND YOU ARE GOING TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH. AND THE DEVIL IS NOT GOING TO KEEP IT FROM YOU. YOU USE THIS COMMAND AND CONFESS YOUR HEALING AND PRAISE GOD EVERYDAY UNTIL YOU GET A CLEAN REPORT FROM THE DOCTOR.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO PUT UP WITH THE DEVIL ANY LONGER ... HE IS DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED, DEFEATED ...

    HEALING IN A NUT SHELL!
    1) Read God's Word!
    2) Believe God's Word!
    3) Consider not the contradictory circumstances! ( What your body tells you.)
    4) Thank God for your healing and start praising Him. (Physical healing will follow.)
Follow these four steps and believe that God is listening. 1 John 5:14-15, (This is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us - whatever we ask - we know we have what we ask of Him.)
Remember to stay true to God's word. Because He has the power to perform what He has promised you. Romans 4:20-21 ... I pray for everyone who reads this that their healing will be swift and complete. That the Lord Jesus will guide you into the perfect peace that He has for each of you. That your battles with the Devil will be small and victorious. I also pray that as you receive your healing you will go forth and sing the praises of Jesus. Let the world know that God's word is true and that through Him you are more than a conqueror. Find another who is sick and share God's love.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPIRIT AND THE FLESH

The flesh always provides a way of entrance into sin and ease of giving into temptation.
The Holy Spirit always provides a way of escape that leads to victory over sin and temptation. (1 Cor. 10:13)
Christian courting will allow you to see clearly whether or not you are equally yoked. (2 Corinth. 6:14)
The importance of this is the other person can understand why you, as a Christian and a lady or gentleman, don’t want to have sex before marriage. He or she can cooperate with you to mutually agree and help each other to stay pure.
The world has strayed so far from old fashioned living and its principles of Christian courtship. People would have you believe that those conservative ways are impractical and irrelevant.
That is just not true! It is realistic. It is still the best way to live and engage in a premarital relationship!

Realize that any attempt on the other person's part to get you to have sex is just the flesh talking. Don't go down that road. Neither of you will die if you wait to live together and have sex until you have sealed your commitment to each other in marriage.
Help each other out. Remind each other lovingly but firmly of your goal and decision. Encourage each other to keep your standards high.
Stay in communion with God. Get each other off your minds long enough commit your ways and plans to Him.

SIX SIGNS GIVEN BY JESUS TO INDICATE HIS COMING AND THE END OF THE AGE

In Matthew24:3 Jesus was asked, "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" Jesus told his apostles to look for the following signs prior to his second coming and the end of the age.

    1. FALSE PROPHETS AND CHRISTS

Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many."

Matthew 24:11 "And many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many."

In the last several years many have claimed to be the Messiah. Jim Jones and David Koresh are examples of these false christs as well as countless others who are not as newsworthy. These false prophets are a prelude to the ultimate false christ, the antichrist. Many New Age groups, some even NGO's working for the United Nations, are anxiously awaiting the antichrist, preparing the way for his acceptance as the head of the hierarchy of gods and the one who will usher in world peace.

    2. WARS

Matthew 24:6 "And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end."Rumors of wars in all areas of the world now occur frequently thanks to instant media coverage and the availability of a multitude of 24-hour news sources.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."More people have been killed in warfare in this century than at any other time in history. As the death toll rises in the Middle East, more and more countries work feverishly to develop devastating weapons of mass destruction. Add to that the expanding threat of terrorism and unpredictable dictators such as Saddam Hussein, and the potential for the outbreak of war exists in nations, kingdoms and places across the globe.

    3. FAMINES

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."

As white, Christian farmers are driven out of Zimbabwe in increasing numbers, and foreigners move in to replace life-sustaining crops with poppies that now supply 25% of the worlds drugs, famine spreads across the African continent. The undernourished are not limited to Africa, however. A large portion of the worlds 5 billion people suffers from a shortage of food.

    4. EARTHQUAKES

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."The number and intensity of earthquakes this century is at a level higher than any other time in history. A staggering number of seismic events occur around the world daily. The earthquake seismic monitor IRIS shows all major earthquakes for the last year. Indicated by yellow and red circles, the seismic events of the last 15 days provides strong evidence of the fulfillment of Matthew 24:7 in our day. By contrast, in the years from 1890 to 1900 there was only one major earthquake in the world.

    5. TRIBULATIONS

Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."Christians are under attack throughout the world today. In the United States Christians still enjoy freedom to worship God without suffering much more than ridicule, hatred, or discrimination at work and school. However in many other countries such as China, Sudan, Africa, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Russia, and many Muslim nations, Christian suffer much greater persecution and often times death for their faith. During the tribulation this suffering will be worldwide and will continue even to the point of martyrdom. These first 5 signs will increase in intensity and severity as the tribulation approaches, much like the birth pangs or contractions of a pregnant woman worsen as the delivery time approaches.

    6. THE GOSPEL WILL BE PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come."This prophecy has already been fulfilled through television, radio, missionaries, the translation of the Bible into many languages, and the internet. People all over the world now hear the message of Christ from missionaries who have the means to travel the globe, and via technology that allows us to communicate with people on the other side of the world right from our own homes, churches and offices

What is true love and how do you know when you have found it?

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” —I Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)

This verse describes the characteristics of true love. These qualities can certainly be found in the person of Jesus Christ, and they can be found in all truly loving relationships. The problem with trying to “find” love in our dating lives, is that too often we don't look for these characteristics. Rather we look at physical appearance, popularity, or wealth. These are not the qualities that God looks at and neither should we.

But the LORD said to Samuel, “…The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
    —I Samuel 16:7b (NIV)

Love is best seen as devotion and action, not an emotion. Love is not exclusively based on how we feel. Certainly our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love. True devotion will always lead to action—true love.

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with ACTIONS and in truth.
    I John 3:18 (NIV)

Christ was devoted to us enough to give his own life for us (Romans 5:8), even when he didn't feel like it (Matthew 26:39).

Sex is not love! Our culture has taught us that sex and love are one in the same. This is a lie. Sex is a beautiful God-given activity that is wonderful when practiced within the boundaries of a Biblical marriage. Sex is the completion of the binding of two people within Biblical marriage; it is a God-given gift

Heal Pain by Saying "I AM Sorry"

There are people that have a very hard time saying “I am sorry”. Some think it is a character flaw of some kind to admit they were wrong. I believe it takes strength and awareness to stop, notice your behavior and how it effects others and own up to it. If I snap at one of my friends when I am tired or preoccupied I will say I am sorry. How else will they learn to apologize when they have done something wrong? When you say you are sorry you are letting go of any feelings you may have of disappointment, hurt and pain. When you say “I am sorry” to yourself you can truly move on and get over what has been stewing and exaggerating in your brain.

Look at it from the other side and think of how you feel when you get an apology. Doesn’t it feel so good to have someone apologize to you and to admit what they are sorry for? I know when I say “I am sorry” to my kids their eyes light up with joy. If I did not send messages out apologizing for being late with work — the people I am doing work for might have thought I forgot, was lazy or just didn’t care. Instead I got understanding messages back thanking me and telling me it was okay — to take my time.

The next time you are upset with yourself for something you did or didn’t do or say why not stop and take a minute. Think about what you are sorry for and say “I am sorry” to the person it affected as well as yourself and see how that makes you feel instead.

WHAT YOU LISTEN TO MATTERS, WHERE YOU LEARN FROM ALSO MATTERS

I ask you to please have an open mind and let the cumulative evidence speak for itself. At least watch all the videos with an open mind if you are going to make posts about this is all nonsense.

In fact, the spirit behind most secular music is Satanic. Several artists have even admitted to "selling" their souls to Satan for fame and fortune. Many artists have also admitted themselves to channeling or being a conduit for evil spirits to create or perform their music. Remember, these are the artists saying themselves and the people around them that have said they are possessed or feel like the music is channeled through them.

    THE FLESH AND THE SPIRIT

    - A Walking Contradiction

Paul sums up this internal spiritual war quite nicely in Galatians 5:17, “For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.” Paul says that as Christians, we don’t always do what we would really like to do, namely, please God completely with our lives. This is because the desires of the corrupted flesh make war against our spiritual new man and sometimes we give into those fleshly desires. Our inner man loves God and loves His law and so the more we grow in grace, the more sensitive we are to our own sinful tendencies and the more we hate them and desire to stop giving in to them. One great scholar put it this way,

The more seriously a Christian strives to live from grace and submit to the discipline of the gospel, the more sensitive he becomes to the fact that even his very best acts and activities are disfigured by the egotism which is still powerful within him--and no less evil because it is often more subtly disguised than formerly.

The First Obstacle To Overcoming Sexual Addiction

The fear of failure is normal, especially if you've failed before at stopping.

Just about anyone who acts sexually addictive has made some attempt to stop. It might have been only for a day, but they tried - and they failed. If you've tried to overcome sex addiction before and weren't able to, the biggest barrier to your success is believing you cannot succeed.

Let's imagine you wanted to teach a kid how to ride a bike. You've taught lots of kids and you're sure this kid can make it. He doesn't believe he can. He tried to learn before but was not taught correctly. Now he's sick and tired of failing. You know that the only thing holding him back is his belief that he can't do it.

The answer to the fear of failure is to find a successful approach and persist.

Let's change the problem from learning to ride a bike to learning how to overcome sexual addiction. Remember that the kid felt hopeless because of his past mistakes. This same problem can become your biggest obstacle to success, if you let it. You are not doomed to failure. A good counselor can help you identify your past mistakes and help you correct them before they get in your way.

But what if you don't believe that you can correct your mistakes? Ask yourself this question: "What if my situation isn't hopeless? What if I really can overcome my addiction?"

Here's what it takes to overcome sexual addiction:

    Free will
    Knowledge
    Hard work.
Good counseling will provide you the knowledge. Good counseling will also help motivate you to make the free will choice to stop. Providing the effort is up to you. Just like the kid who can learn to ride the bike if he makes the effort, you can overcome sexual addiction, once your efforts are properly guided. The Advisories provide insights about developing effective motivation and will explain other mistakes to be aware of.

Don't let past failures defeat you. Learn from them. Don't give in to hopelessness. Use it to build motivation.

The first obstacle to overcoming sex addiction is not in your genes, your childhood or your environment. The first obstacle is the decision not to try. If you're willing to make the effort, good counseling can guide you to success. The decision to make the effort and find the right guidance doesn't apply only to sexual addiction. It applies to accomplishing anything.

The real life stories and common sense, effective approach explained in The Most Personal Addiction and The Advisories will help you gain the knowledge and motivation you need to succeed.
